Travel Counsellors discover ‘One Happy Island’

A group of 19 Travel Counsellors, invited by the Aruba Tourism Authority, left for the sunny island of Aruba together with Operations Manager Milka van Dam. The Travel Counsellors enjoyed the rough landscapes, white beaches, resorts and the Caribbean Atmosphere.

The Aruba Tourism Authority created a study trip, exclusively for Travel Counsellors, on which they could explore all of the highlights and accommodations of Aruba, to expand their knowledge about the island. The group flew to Aruba with Arke Fly where they stayed at the Renaissance Aruba Beach Resort and Talk of the Town Hotel & Beach Club. Besides these accommodations, other hotels were visited, like the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, Bucuti & Tara Suites, Boardwalk Hotel, Divi Resorts, Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa and the Hyatt Regency.

Travel Counsellor Samantha Ammerlan: “Aruba Tourism Authority made us get to know Aruba in many different ways, nothing was too much. From island tour by jeep, snorkelling trip by catamaran, the most cosy restaurants, typical Aruban breakfast and of course many different kinds of hotels that we have visited. I closed Aruba into my heart. The study trip contributed to expanding my knowledge and I will inform my clients about Aruba and make them become enthusiastic!”

Operations Manager Milka van Dam: Travel Counsellors organises in company study trips multiple times a year. This gives our Travel Counsellors the chance to get to know a destination and its possibilities. Together with Aruba Tourism Authority, this was already the third time that a group of Travel Counsellors visited the island. The trip was once again organised fantastically. With all of the gained knowledge, the Travel Counsellors can sell Aruba even better to their clients.
