Curators of the former company of Oad start five investigations

Curators of the former company of Oad start five investigations

Curators of the former company of Oad are going to start with a few investigations. This decision is not weird with a bankruptcy with such magnitude. However, before the curators are going to start the investigations for real, there will be set up a data room. From this, the involved investigators can draw information efficient and unambiguous. The expectation is that this data room is operational in approximately three months. The curators note that the various investigations take some time and the settlement op the Oad-bankruptcy take a lot of time.

We are talking about five investigations: to the role of the principal banker, the Rabobank; to the legality/the scope of the securities of the Rabobank; to the action of the board and of the supervisors; to the failure of the software project and an investigation with regard to the administration. Looking at the amount of investigations and data that are available to the curators and the investigators, curators have decided to give the task to set up a digital data room beforehand to a third party. From this, curators and investigators can draw information during the investigation. The data room is going to be composed based on the physical and digital administration and based on the input of third parties.

That the amount of information is a lot, proves the fact that curators has secured the physical and digital administration by specialized companies the last months. It is about 22.000 items (orders/maps) in total. Besides that, the mail server with all mails of the past few years has been secured. The total volume of all of this amounts 60 terra bite. From these administrations, the relevant parts for the data room will be selected.

With this approach, curators want to prevent that several investigators will look for relevant information independent, whereby it is about (for a part) the same informative. An independent approach by and for every independent investigator is inefficient and will lead, because of that reason, to higher costs.

TravelXL introduces big distribution platform

TravelXL introduces big distribution platform

Last month it has been revealed that TravelXL is going to be upcoming ‘cooperation partner’ of Schmetterling of International Travel Agency Network (with the biggest travel agency network of Europe). Today there has been revealed that both parties as ‘Schmetterling TravelXL BV’ are going to introduce the travel distribution platform ‘Argus’ in Holland and Belgium (Flanders) from the first quarter of 2015.

Both parties tell that ‘Argus’ the travel retail offers the biggest distribution platform for the books of German and European travel organisations, airlines, carriers, cottages et cetera. The intention is that from the end of 2015, the system will also be available in the Dutch language. Dutch and Belgian travel organisations in ‘Argus’ will also be bookable by then. The TravelXL partners will be the first ones who are going to use Argus. With this, TravelXL offers Dutch and Belgian travel agencies three different forms of collaboration; the TravelXL formula, the White-label formula and ‘Argus’.

“In this manner TravelXL offers interested travel entrepreneurs in Holland and Belgium a strengthening of their position. Look at what is happening around us with big travel organisations like TUI, DER and Thomas Cook, who are not only acting on national level, but also European level nowadays. In our vision it matters for us as retailers to think and act European. In Europe, the Dutch travel market is too small to participate as an important player. With the introduction of Schmetterling TravelXL BV we offer, on attractive terms, choices for all players (individual travel agencies, chains, ZRA’s etc.) to strengthening themselves in the sale in Holland and Belgium”, says Ronald Raadsheer. “For TravelXL, this also means that we, with our three ‘formulas’ in 2015, are going to take the first steps in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium”.
